 “Snafu Survival” – Presenting without Panicking

John Tillison will highlight some of the necessary components needed to present confidently to the client and differentiate yourself in this ultra-competitive economy. Some tips will include: Techniques on how to deliver compelling and memorable presentations; turning your back on PowerPoint (not the customer!); preparing for the unexpected; and relaxation tips to survive and thrive during competitive presentations.

John Tillison is an author, speaker, business coach, flight instructor and former president of an adventure travel company. He coaches project managers, engineers, and related professionals how to win more work though his “Speak Easy” series for business people.

John has a Business Administration degree from California State University at Sacramento, possesses the coveted ATP rating in aviation, has won numerous speaking awards with Toastmasters International in addition to being a business speaker, presenter, and published writer in Australia, Africa, Europe and the United States. His Snafu Survival theme had the distinct honor to be featured on the front cover of the “Toastmaster”, a globally recognized communications and leadership magazine.

Over the past 38 years, John has accumulated more than 10,000 accident-free hours in the air, gaining applicable team-building and crew resource management experience along the way. Experience he now uses to promote workplace excellence and content-rich applications that focus on people skills, presentational effectiveness, and adversity management.

John recently published, Hell Trains, Planes & Parachutes – Creating Crashproof Excellence in Your Life. He is also the author of four separate audio coach programs that highlight teamwork, communication, time management and workplace excellence.

John flies his Cessna Cardinal RG out of Sacramento Executive Airport.
